Christmas Cookies - Polar Bears

It has been a whole week since I wrote to all of you! With that awesome 1,000 fan give-away, I didn't want to take away from that excitement, so I didn't make any new blog posts until after the give-away closed last night. I've missed sharing cookies with you. It's even been a whole week since I changed my blog background! Silly huh, but it's the little things that I find joy in. So.... I'm baaack and I have a lot of cookies to show you. We'll do them in increments so as to not overwhelm you ;-) Today we have Polar Bear cookies. As you probably remember, I have a polar bear and penguin FETISH OBSESSION PASSION - um okay I enjoy polar bears and penguins ;-) So here they are:

The inspiration for these polar bears came from this amazing clipart that I purchased at Studio Cinco Etsy shop. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and then of course had to make it into a cookie!

Aren't these so fun? I used my snowglobe cookie cutter from CopperGifts.com and I used luster dust for his cheeks.

and this little guy standing upright with his thick baby blue scarf. I just love him.

Are you obsessed with polar bears too? I haven't decided if I like polar bears or penguins better, but I love them both. I can't wait to show you the penguin cookies I made. Fun!

This last polar bear was not from the same set of clipart, but he seemed to match really well so I turned him into a cookie too. The other polar bears were nice enough to make friends with him and now he's part of their cookie family.

and then I made these too. I know, I know, I really like polar bears!

 I gave the one in the lavender scarf eyelashes this time. She feels pretty and ready to go out in the cold.

 and I just love these and made them in my two very favorite colors. The girl in the pink scarf has pretty eyelashes too. Don't they look so happy :-)

I want to show you my penguin cookies next, but since tomorrow is the first official day of Winter, I think I'll have to show you cookies that are specific to the winter theme. Stay tuned!

Are you ready for Christmas? It's so crazy-busy huh! My son just finished his finals today and is officially on vacation. Today he also received his 5th acceptance letter to college! We are soaking in all the incredible blessings! Merry Christmas!
