Flowers To Perk Up A Sick One

A friend of mine asked me if I would make flower cookies for her sick friend. She gave me the opportunity to "play" and since she needed them quickly, she asked me to use colors that I was already using in my other projects. I had fun with these in my favorite colors.
I started with a bunch of huge daisies. Yes, huge. I think these are about 6" cookies!
I went for a "retro" type of look and I really liked these with a bright white outline
and then I made some point-edge daisies. Can you tell that I know NOTHING about flowers. These probably have a name, but to me they are point-edge daisies. It works.
I added little detail around the center and hoped the colors didn't bleed together. They came out really cute using all the colors.
and lastly I added in some tulips, again with the white outline

What fun colors huh?! I love bright and energetic colors! What do you think? Would these flower cookies make you feel better if you were sick?
and then I put them all in a clear-top box so the recipient could see them and start getting better right away.
I couldn't find a photo of Abigail wearing something with flowers, so you'll have to put up with this adorable one of her holding flowers. Oh my gosh she is so stinkin adorable!

I'm hoping to show you graduation cookies soon since I made about a gazillion of them, but I haven't had a chance to watermark the photos yet and I'm still working on cookies to finish out May Madness. We're having a big birthday party for one of my daughter's this weekend, so I need to get started on those cookies too. What are you working on? Playing with any new designs?
