Forest Animal Cookies for Baby Aidan & New Cutters Too

Did I tell you my daughter is pregnant? As in, very pregnant?! As in due next month?! And little 14-month old Abigail is going to be a big sister! That is so weird to think. My daughter and son-in-law are going to have their hands full to say the least. Personally, I can't even comprehend it. When little tornado, I mean Abigail, comes over, my house looks very different and now there will be two tiny ones coming to visit. Can't quite wrap my brain around it just yet.

So this weekend we had a baby "sprinkle" for Mellissa. My mom and step-daughter, Sarah, hosted the fun event. We played silly games like suck on a pacifier and spit it out and the person spitting the pacifier the farthest won a prize and draw a baby on a paper plate while the plate was on your head and you couldn't see what you're drawing. Lots of giggles and sillyness. And I made cookies.
The theme was originally forest animals because that is the theme of baby Aidan's nursery, but then Sarah and my mom changed the theme to include "No Pink Allowed" hmmmmmmm.... I basically have two things in my closet that are not pink - a SF Giants shirt and a Black Belt shirt. That's it. So I stayed with the forest animal theme for the cookies. So there ;-)
