It is only a few days until Christmas. Are you ready? I thought I was ready. The cookies were done, the presents were wrapped, the decorations up. Then more presents that I had ordered arrived and they are sitting in a big pile waiting to be wrapped and I realized that with all the cookies I made for friends, I don't have a single cookie to bring to my in-laws or to the family party at my mom's! So no cookies for family! Unacceptable. So any normal person would just make a batch or two of cookies right? Well, we've learned this year that I am far from "normal". Obsessed crazy, stupid passionate, yes, but normal, no. So I made 11 batches of cookie dough. Do you think they'll be ready in time for Christmas? Very likely - NOT! But I'll give it my all and see what I can come up with. I just had too many Christmas cookie ideas still swirling around in my head that had to be decorated!
So today is the first official day of Winter. What better than hats and mittens to feel the warmth of the season? I made just a few ;-)

These are so sweet! I love the all the designs, but I really love the pink and lavender ones. You are so amazing and I hope you have a very merry Christmas. I hope this next year I'll get to sit and have a cookie with you :D
