Cookies for AmeriGas

My daughter works at AmeriGas, the propane company. She asked me to make cookies for her co-workers, so I turned the project into a tutorial for you. I used my large school bus cutter from CopperGifts.com and turned it into an Amerigas Bobtail Truck.

I started with a school bus cookie cutter from CopperGifts.com
Then I outlined the buses in a way that would make them look like the propane truck.
I filled the bottom section with blue
My beautiful girl, Mellissa, came by to help out and have fun baking time with Mom :-)
Isn't she beautiful! And she's a super kid too. I am truly blessed.
Okay, okay, back to the cookies. Then I filled all the white section, I call it the bottom layer and also added the black wheels and the light blue windows.
Then I used my KopyKake projector to write AmeriGas on each truck. Yes, this took quite a bit of time, but a lot less time than it would have taken without a KK!
 We made lots of cookies...
Lastly I added some extra details. I made the center wheels white and added little lines of detail on the blue bottom section and the white truck near the window.
 Here they are all done.
Now they are packaged and ready to give out.
More tutorials coming for 2012... stay tuned!
