Pinwheel Cookies for a Friend and a Link Up

My friend, Melissa, over at Simply Sweets by Honeybee is doing a link-up party: Simply Sweet Saturdays. You should join in too. I decided to share my pinwheel cookies that I made for a friend. You know Eric of eCrandal? He has an amazing talent. He is a cookie cutter maker. Stop drooling. I know, we love the cookie cutter makers. For sure. Eric has made a few special cookie cutters at my own request. Isn't that amazing?! Their entire line of cycling cookie cutters was at my request and I didn't even have to beg or give my first born child or anything like that. Eric and Jamie are awesome. So I made them cookies from their eCrandal pinwheel cookie cutter. It comes in sizes from 2.5 inch all the way to my huge 5.5 inch pinwheel cookie cutter. Mine are the monster huge size :-) Isn't it pretty...

Now don't forget to go over to visit Melissa at Simply Sweets by Honeybee and join in her link up party: Simply Sweet Saturdays!

  1. I love the cookie Cristin! I don't have that cutter, so I just might have to treat myself to it...because you can never have too many cutters, right?

    1. No you can NEVER have too many cookie cutters. I think we are all proof of that Kimmie ;-) but when you have no more room to store them, it can become a problem!

  2. Thanks for linking up Cristin :). The pinwheels are awesome. I don't have that cutter either and think I need it in my life. I made a promise that I would watch my spending this year. It's hard when you see great cutters like this. As always your backgrounds are amazing and sweet Abigail. She is just too cute!

    1. Yes, Abigail wears a lot of Grandma's favorite colors since Grandma does so much of the baby clothes shopping! ;-) I can't seem to stay away from all the cute little tiny clothes! Thanks Paula!

    1. Thank you Marci! I definitely like the bright colors. I see other cookies and I always think oh they're so pretty, but when I go to make my own, I always lean toward those bright colors! :-)

    1. Mzulch, I use my own homemade glaze icing recipe. Unfortunately it is the one thing that I do not share, but you can do a google search for glaze icing recipes and try a few and tweak them to see what you prefer and what works best for you. Have fun!
