Happy Easter! For most cookie decorators, Easter is a crazy busy time of year, just like most major holidays. This one was especially busy because it fell just two weeks after St. Patrick's Day. I had hopes of making a bunch of new Easter cookie cutter designs. Unfortunately I couldn't get them done early enough to make them available for Easter, but I did make them. LOTS of them. 17 new Easter cookie cutter designs to be exact!

Marshmallow Bunny
Marshmallow Chick
and my second favorite new Easter design is this fun sheep. Jodi from Serendipitous Sweets suggested that I name her Olive the Ewe. Get it? Olive Ewe. So cute! Do you know the difference between a sheep and a lamb? A Google search taught me that a Lamb is a baby sheep. Once it turns a year old, it is called a Sheep. A girl sheep is a Ewe and a boy sheep is a Ram. There is your lesson for the day. Cookie cutter available HERE
and this is Shelly the Sheep. Does she look familiar? She used to be Crissy the Cow ;-) available HERE
and I made some Easter cookie tags and shared them for you by clicking HERE.
Are you tired now from looking at all these Easter cookies? I get it. I was pretty exhausted from making all of them! I think Easter will be a nice break. No cookies to make. No cookie cutters to make. Just find Easter eggs. Yep, I can do that.
Happy Easter everyone! So my favorite is Gretchen the Girl with Bunny Ears. Which new design do YOU like best?

ReplyDeleteHappy Eater Cristin and thanks for the free printable. I checked your shop for the Detailed (not draped cross) but didn't see it. Is it available? sold out? I have a First Communion coming up soon and thought this might be a good cutter for the event, if it is the right size.
ReplyDeleteHi Diane, I can put you on the list for the detailed cross and let you know as soon as it's available. It should only be a day or two. Can you send me an email to cristinscookies@gmail.com or an Etsy conversation so that I can let you know when it's available. Also if you have a specific size you want, please let me know. This one is 3.5" but can be made in a different size if needed. Thanks! Cristin
