More Sea Creature Cookies For A 2-Year Old

My hubby, son and I all took the week off work. It is our last week home with Nick before he goes back to college next week so we had these great plans of going somewhere special every day. Like to Monterey and San Francisco and and and, well I made a whole list of places. Guess where we went? Nada. Yep, Nada. Why? I don't know. I guess we suck is the only answer I can come up with. Nick has played video games about 24 hours a day. Hubby has watched more TV then I ever thought possible and I've worked and worked and worked. Yep, we suck. By the way, shouldn't someone ELSE do dishes and laundry and cleaning when you're on vacation? Hmph. But we did squeeze in lots of loving. I played video games with Nick. We've made special dinners. And our schedule has been much more relaxed then usual. That's something at least. We also took the grandbabies to Happy Hollow. More on that after some cookies. Abigail turned two a couple weeks ago and I made a gazillion sea creature cookies. So here's the next set of them.

Now that Abigail is not a baby, I made a big girl Abigail cookie cutter. You can get one HERE

I love this lobster, but I changed the design after I made these cookies so that the arms aren't as separated. It made it difficult to get him transferred to a cookie sheet, so now the arms are closer and the design is still the same. You can get the new lobster cookie cutter HERE

and you've all seen my Frankie the Fish cookies. I make these often in varying designs. I love him. You can get one HERE

Seth the Sea Otter is one of my very favorites and I've used this cutter to decorate other animals as well. You can get the cookie cutter HERE

and this is Danielle the Dolphin. I love her and so did Abigail. You can get the cookie cutter HERE

So we didn't get out much on our vacation at home, but we did take my daughter, Mellissa and the grandbabies to Happy Hollow Park and Zoo. Mellissa wanted us all to drive together which meant that Nick and I were banished to the third seat. Have you ever tried to sit in a 3rd row seat in a normal size car? It works really well if you don't have things like KNEES or maybe if you're a mini person. Well let me tell you, it was NOT an easy thing for me or Nick.
Poor Nick. He puts up with so much from his mom. I felt it was necessary to stand next to my "baby" on the carousel. He is so very good at putting up with me and everyone looking at us ;-)
We'll miss you Uncle Nicky while you're away at college!
and Happy 2nd Birthday to little Abigail!

Sea Creatures blog background for today. Thank you to Amy of Happy Heart Studios for creating the custom digital papers for me!
