Don't Bug Me - Bug Cookies & Cookie Cutters

My little grandson turned ONE! I can't believe how fast it's gone. Honestly it feels like his first year went way, way too quickly without nearly enough kisses and snuggles. I don't know how parents have children close together in age. I can't even balance grandchildren close in age! Since I knew that Aidan's birthday party theme was going to be bugs, I bought a bunch of bug themed crafts to do with 2-year old Abigail for decorations at Aidan's party, but we didn't get any of them made in time. But at least I made cookies. My daughter just said she wanted the theme of bugs and let me run with the designs. That's a good thing because it makes it fun for me, but it's also a bad thing because I tend to go overboard. Hubby went out of town for a weekend and I designed cookie cutters every single minute of the entire weekend. I don't know if I even got out of my pajamas for two days! But I'm super happy with how they came out and the guests at Aidan's party enjoyed the cookies.

My daughter made a super cute Hungry Caterpillar cake for Aidan's bug party. Hubby said that he looked like the Riddler after he ate it ;-)

Happy Birthday to our little Aidan!
I designed a shirt for myself with a fun colorful caterpillar on it to wear to Aidan's birthday party. It says Powered By Cristin's Cookies :-)
