Today is my 21st wedding anniversary with my hubby. 21 years. That's almost half my life I've been married to this man. We've had lots of ups and downs as marriages do. We have 3 amazing children and 2 grandchildren. We have 1 1/2 more years of big expenses with college and the tightening of the belt. We've laughed, we've played, we've yelled and fought. I don't think I've ever cried in front of him unless it was a dark movie theater. I know that's weird, but people that don't like to be in the spotlight also do not like to cry in front of others. When my dad died, he went to my closest friends and asked them to get through to me as I was in a sinking hole. That kind act is what pulled me out of despair knowing that he did that for me. We also melded a family together as we each have older daughters and together we have our son. Melding a family is NOT an easy thing to do and we struggled. But each of our struggles, we've made it through and become stronger for it. We are VERY different people with very different personalities, but we agree on the most important things. Family comes first. We are both very careful with spending money. We need more hobbies together, but we're working on that. We have a simple evening celebration planned. Dinner and a movie and a nice walk together. Today I am sharing with you the last of the new Fire Fighter set of cookies and cookie cutters.
