4 Years Where Did They Go - Nautical Cookies

4 years ago, my youngest son graduated high school. 4 years ago. Honestly, during those 4 years of high school, I cried every single time I thought of graduation. What a huge accomplishment, what incredible pride and I knew I would be a big mess. And now we are looking at college graduation in just 2 1/2 months. Where did the time go? I blinked. I have to remember to stop blinking. It's all going too fast. My son's college has a nautical theme because it is near a river. So I made these half steering wheel, half anchor cookies for him and they are just perfect for a nautical theme event. Then I also made them again for the Cookie Cruise that I went on last year. They are a simple cookie to decorate and perfect for a nautical theme. I'm sure I'll be making lots of them for Nick's graduation.

Nautical Steering Wheel/Anchor cookie cutter available HERE I like these with the white outline with the dark colors so the design pops

and I tried it without the white outline, but decided that I preferred the white outline which the dark colors because it made the design pop more

and these are my favorite, are you surprised? Pink & lime green with a black outline makes the design really pop and these are what I brought on the Cookie Cruise for all my cookie friends.

and my sailboat cookies work well in this nautical theme too. Sailboat cookie cutter available HERE

Graduation is coming soon. I just can't believe how fast it all goes. If you still have young ones at home, cherish it. Teach them well and cherish the time together and the memories.
